Our suppliers prepare the timbers carefully to increase the strength and insulation qualities of the building as well as reducing shrinkage. Timbers of this quality can only be obtained from the climatic conditions in countries such as Canada and Finland. Some of our suppliers use the Pinus Sylvestris variety of timber which is much harder than normal pine wood and is cut through the heart to prevent cracks increasing durability.
